Leave me not.
Soothe my pains
Before the day takes you away.
Depressed I awoke,
Fears of the night I still feel.
Dreams unfulfilled I cling to,
Cares of today on my shoulders hang.
Angel of the morning,
Bring my weary soul joy.
Shield me from the hurt,
Which the day brings.
